I got Bruce’s message at 10:21 pm EDT, but I got Charles’ reply an hour earlier at 9:23 pm EDT. The “sent” time in the messages was 9:21 from Bruce and 9:23 from Charles, so Bruce’s message was delayed an hour somewhere. That’s almost enough time for a message to get to Jupiter and back. By the way, I’m sending this at 11:04 pm.

There are some problems probably on the side of yahoo - my mails are also delayed, and one of my previous mails here came now for the second time despite i didn’t send it two times.

Yes, there is something strange going on.  I went into Yahoo and
'changed' my email settings -- changed them to Daily Digest, then back
to Individual Emails.  It may have helped a little:  I *just* received
my copy of the message I sent at 9:21!

I guess I can ask Yahoo for my money back ... ;-)

I posted a reply three times, neither of them showed up in the web client, and none came back into my email (which is also Yahoo) so something is broken. Going now to delete my extras that magically showed up this morning :(

Thanks.  For some reason, I am *not* receiving a copy of my posts back
to my email.  I sent this test email, and similar ones to two other
Yahoo Groups; I got copies of my email from the other groups, but not
this list.  Anybody have an idea why YamahaDX is different?

Bruce,

I'm getting my replies sent to me late, and apparently appearing in the conversation out of order, but that's normal. I assume it's moderation delay - someone, or some piece of (****) software is apparently checking them first, with quite a lengthy delay.

The difference today has been that I've been getting multiple copies of each message, including my own. That also happens with edits - so I try to avoid doing that. In this case, it's identical copies of the same message.

In the windcontroller group, the moderation delay has now stretched to over two weeks, which makes me wonder about the health of whoever's moderating it - I assume a person, in that case, because there's always been a fairly lengthy delay.
