DX5 'factory reset' help

I am new and a proud owner of this FM monster but something strange is happening with some patches. With some patches it shows like 'Drum Kit' and I'm hearing Clav or some patches sound strange like unaudible..
With some patches it shows 'Swap Cartridges' message?? I have both factory A and B cartdridge pluged in.
Was going through Function/Memory options and saw some Init options but not sure which one should I choose.Couldn't find Factory Init or Reset option.
In the manual pg 50 is Clear Memory option.Maybe I need to do that first and than load patches from cartridges into DX internal memory?

Otherwise most of the sounds are clear and sund good.
I would realy appreciate if someone would help me with this issue as this synth has a HUGE sound!

Probably the previous owner has custom reprogrammed the DX5's memory. The clear
memory will erase the memory (no factory preset restore). You would need the
original ROM cartridges for restoring the presets. I would recommend you to read
the manuals from cover to cover. Anyway, there is WAY more the DX5 can do than
the presets. I made on mine a Jupiter-killer analog string pad.
